Who is UCB Vanuatu?

Trusted Christian Media

UCB stands for United Christian Broadcasters.

UCB Vanuatu is an independent, non-denominational, Christian ministry, and a registered charity here in Vanuatu.

We are a full affiliate of UCB Asia Pacific and part of the United Christian Broadcasters International family. Their support and resources are assisting us with training, IT expertise, business management, equipment maintenance, publicity and public relations.

We want everyone in Vanuatu to be able to access and enjoy Laef FM 102.5 FM and The Word for Today.

Positive and Encouraging

The teaching and music you’ll hear on Laef FM is aimed at everyone who is young at heart. You will love the upbeat island sound and positive teaching.

Many of our community leaders are concerned for the welfare of Vanuatu’s next generation as higher education, the search for employment and the frustrations of insufficient job vacancies lead many to abandon rural/village life and its associated community and family infrastructure, as well as the traditional values of the nation.

We aim to be part of the solution to help our young people make good life decisions, based on Biblical truths.

Working Together

Our ministry is all about partnership. Our team believe Laef FM has a valuable role to play in maintaining contact with our next generation through high quality and solid value programs, reaching out through mobile phones, the internet and FM radio. But this can only be achieved when we work together. It’s not what we do but rather what we can do together with your help?

The Word for Today

In addition to radio broadcasts, through our partnership with UCB Asia Pacific we are now able to distribute the internationally-popular and much-sought-after, daily devotional The Word for Today.

The Word for Today is now in circulation in Vanuatu and around 30 other countries around the world, including many of our pacific neighbours. Authored by Bob Gass, these books have become one of the most popular Christian daily devotions in many of those nations.

You can hear The Word for Today read on air as part of our radio broadcasts or contact us for your copy.
